Ray Van der Bas is an international film maker experienced in stills photography, lighting, cinematography and production.
Based in the Netherlands, Ray works within the commercial and fiction industries, and has produced several international short films in partnership with a number of film companies. Ever evolving he has recently become trained in Covid-19 Set Safety (fully certified).
A facilities partner in Tungsten Studio, his understanding of production means he is an adept problem solver. His flair for colour has brought him a reputation for creative lighting solutions, which led him to recently developing his experience to adding Colourist onto his professional skillset.
He has supported various education institutes over many years, enabling students to realise their vision and enter the industry confidently with a higher level of technical expertise.
Ray is interested in working with diverse new partners, internationally.
